I've never lived in a war zone and can't imagine what you've been going through. I will keep you in my prayers.

Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13760897671143549963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4386256495088401444.post-7238138543741588582012-12-26T16:12:32.411+02:002012-12-26T16:12:32.411+02:00Amen! From afar, I am tied to the comings and goings of Israel.

A mother of a lone soldier (I was glad for the cease-fire and that my son would not know combat for another day) and another son about to enter the IDF, I wish that my weekends were filled with my children.

When my daughter (not in the IDF) wanted to move there, I expressed my anxiousness. Her realistic response, "I could get killed crossing the street".

She called last week, we live in Newtown, CT and she said, "See mom, no place is safe".

That makes the distance only greater. May our children never know war. Do you often picture your grandson living here without the threats we face today? It is what I pray for every day for my 2 little grandsons--that they'll serve in the IDF-- but there will be no more wars.Pam Machefskynoreply@blogger.com
