I took first aid in high school, and ...Nice post!!<br /><br />I took first aid in high school, and one of the first things we learned was never to move someone who might have a head injury.<br /><br />During my first week in Israel, after making Aliyah, I witnessed a skateboarding accident -- the kids fell HARD on his head. I rushed to the scene and tried to convey to the kid not to move, while all the Israelis around me were telling him to get up. <br /><br />Thank God, the kid was fine. I felt completely helpless and powerless to help in the face of all those pushy Israelis who clearly knew better than I...
