What sickness lives in this man and those who hate blindly?

Social media is an incredible way to learn what others are thinking. Social media is a horrible thing that can show you the sickest thoughts. I have to admit, the enemies of Israel are having a bad day. They are trying to deny what happened in Israel, when some of the greatest videos of Hamas' barbaric acts were actually released by Hamas.

Some say that it's all a lie and there are no captives being held hostage. Again, Hamas has admitted to taking the hostages and released videos of their terrorist membership rocking our babies. Now, clearly, we're grateful that having murdered 40 babies in Israel, including beheading some, that for this group, they are, at least for the cameras, taking care of them.

But the videos of the babies, as well as countless others beaten and dragged into Gaza prove that yet again, Hamas has violated international law by taking hostages, never mind committed war crimes. As one would expect, countless anti-Israel supporters have risen to the challenge to deny facts and rewrite history. They're quite good at, since they've been doing it for about the last 100 years.

Just as Hamas has broken all records of barbarity and inhumanity, indecency and perversion, so too have their supporters reached new depths of absurdity. Take, for example, David who suggests that the 199 Israelis taken hostage (ranging in age from a few months old to 90 years old), are "prisoners, just like the hundreds of prisoners Israel has detained over the years".

Just like? I promise you, Israel has no

You'd think someone involved in "data engineering" would be a bit more attentive to such things as data and facts. So what is the difference between a prisoner and a hostage?

In the case of warfare, a prisoner is someone caught in enemy territory, for example a soldier on the battlefield captured by the opposite side is considered a war prisoner.

A hostage is someone taken by force for the goal of being used as a tool to obtain something from a second party.

Somewhere around 200 Israelis, ranging in age from a few months old to 90-years-old, were dragged across the border by Hamas terrorists. By contrast, each of the "prisoners" Israel has detained over the years did something that caused them to be detained - like murder, like trying to murder someone, like setting a bomb, throwing a large rock at a moving bus with the intent of startling the driver (or disabling him) in order to cause a crash.

All these people did was go to a party, choose to live close to Gaza, walk down a certain street, visit a friend, or simply be born Jewish.

The atrocities that Hamas has committed more than justifies Israel's legal right to pursue them, to wage a war against them. The hostages must be freed. I do not believe Hamas understands us. They think they do, but they honestly don't. They have no understanding of the depth of our unity, our love for each other.

They would, and have, sacrificed their wives, their children while we do all we can to save and protect ours. If you've seen even a quarter of the pictures coming out of Israel, the only way you could think that these people were prisoners is if you are inherently antisemitic, anti-Israel and pro-terrorism. That this David goes on LinkedIn to spout his hatred is as shocking as it is irrational.

There are no Arab children in Israeli jails (even the 14 and 15 year old "prisoners" who were raised to throw stones, attempt to stab Israelis are ultimately released because of their age).

Were we to compare Israel's response (current and anticipated) to the atrocities committed by the Gazan terrorists, the results would most definitely be continued outrage at Hamas and not Israel.

We can't argue with those who hate blindly, like this David fellow. but what we can do is listen to this brilliant response to the endless ignorance of BBC and other reporters who call for Israel to deliver only a "proportional" response.
