University of Pennslvania's President Fails Humanity 101

When you have to push someone so hard to give you the right answer and they insist on qualifying it, they have given you the most painful denial of all the basic foundations of humanity we know of.

Calling for the genocide of the Jewish people is acceptable at the University of Pennsylvania - so long as you yourself don't actively take part in that genocide, apparently.

Like University of Pennsylvania, other schools have failed this simple moral test. Harvard. Columbia. All have lost their moral compass completely.  I am embarrassed to have attended Columbia University. Embarrassed at the cesspool of antisemitism they have become. Disgusted that they believe Jewish lives mean so little.

As my sons fight to defend the existence of Israel, I tell these "ivy league" universities, you are not worthy of even having my sons walk on your campus, let alone attend.

My sons may or may not be smarter than those you claim to educate, and yet my sons are better educated to be moral, humane human beings.

As I listen to this woman, my soul cries in agony. I recognize her, though I have never met her. The Jewish people believe that we all stood at Mount Sinai and received the Torah, we all felt the agonies of crimes against humanity committed by country after country as they slaughtered Jews for thousands of years. And now I see that as we have lived through eternity, so has the spirit and soul of this woman.

She was there watching as Amalek attacked the weak and elderly as we made our way into the desert having left behind slavery. She was there watching as Haman planned to murder us all. She was there  in 1938 in Germany and kept silent. And she watched from the side as they massacred and buried us in Babi Yar.

She was there when the Nazi rounded up my great-grandmother and she did nothing. She watched as they put my mother-in-law in the gas chamber. And she did...nothing.

Nothing because it is acceptable to her to call for the genocide of the Jewish people and she is only willing to begin contemplating the moral imperative once the massacres begin. Only, the massacre did begin. Never again is now.

October 7 was a message to Israel and the world. Israel got the message. We've heard it many times before. When they come to murder us, we will not be silent. The world did not get the message. This woman represents a world empty of value, empty of morality. She is a disgrace to the University she represents and in turn has made that University and embarrassment.

Does the calling of genocide of Jews violate Penn's code of conduct? I understand from U of Penn's President Liz Magill that it does not. Because, President Magill, it is NOT a contextual question. Never. Never again, not even now.
