Who needs to learn a lesson? Gaza...or Israel - the answer may surprise you.

This might be the best graphic I've seen yet...we've learned our lesson. Elie's first words after the first war he was: "Ima, they didn't let us finish." Now we finish...finally, we have learned our lesson.

They are not going to change. They are going to murder Jews, kidnap babies, rape women whenever they can; wherever they can. Hamas will never make peace with Israel nor will they allow any other Arabs to make peace with Israel. 

We have learned our lesson.

Deep inside, Israelis have this insane notion that all human beings have the same emotions that we have, love of family, love of people, love of nation, love of life.

We have learned our lesson.

Deep inside, Israelis want to believe that the Holocaust happened at a certain time in history that cannot and would not be repeated. Our mere existence and our promise to stand for Jews everywhere would stop it from happening again.

We have learned our lesson.

Deep inside, Israelis believed that peace was possible. That only the exact formula was missing and once we found it, all sides would agree.

We have learned our lesson. And now, we are acting in the only way possible, given our new understanding of the depravity, the barbarity, the inhumanity, the cruelty that is Hamas.

We have learned a lesson we will never forget.
