Austrian Alex, Israeli 14-Year-Olds, and Islamic Fundamentalism

This is Alex. He is...was...14-years-old. Look into his eyes...he was murdered by an Islamist terrorist in Austria...one seeking asylum from Syria.

He was from Austria. He was not a Jew, an Israeli. He was just a boy, an Austrian. A European. He did nothing.

Benjamin Achimeir did nothing. He was a Jew. An Israeli. Just a boy. Like, Alex, he was 14 when he was murdered by Muslim extremists. Asher Natan was shot and murdered in Jerusalem. A Jew. A child. He too was just 14.

Hodaya Asulin was injured in a bus bombing in 2011...she was 14 when she was injured and lived 6 years in a coma before dying of her wounds. Hani Zagha was 14 when she was shot and wounded. A young girl...her father murdered before her eyes...by a Hamas terrorist.

Abigail Litle was 14 when she and 16 other people were murdered in a suicide bombing attack on Egged bus #37. She too had done nothing wrong. Sinai Keinan was not 14 years old when she was murdered by a suicide bomber in Petach Tikvah. She was 14 months old and died with her grandmother near an ice cream store. Fatah claimed that attack.

Hadar Hershkowitz was 14 when she was murdered by Arab suicide bomber in a restaurant in Herzliya. She, like Alex, simply wanted to be.

Alex was 14-years-old and in the heavens perhaps all these young Israeli 14-year-olds will come to meet him and comfort him. He, like they, had so much to live for, so much he could have accomplished they could have accomplished. They could have been so many things, done so much...but for the Arab terrorists who believed death and hate should fill the world.
